  This is a nice place to eat, considering the lack of quality food in the area. it's slightly overrated and no good beer is served. Get some better Minnesota beers and I'll be back, just cause this is WI doesn't mean you need to serve leinenkugels crap....Summit EPA or Surly please. Someday WI will catchup.

  A little gem in the Northwoods, I will agree that the staff is sometimes irritable and the decor is a little lacking, but the food makes up for it!

  Wow - a northwoods treasure. This is a place to relax and enjoy a leisurely, elegant meal. Great waitstaff, nice variety of entrees and appetizers with seasonal accents - like fiddlehead ferns. We eat on the open porch when we can, so we can watch the lake and shore activity and enjoy the evening sky. Favorites: wild mushroom medley on puff pastry with cream sauce; duck confit, any of the steaks! Flavorful, with lovely sauces and garnishes. Even at its busiest on a July weekend, it is worth a wait. Leave your fast-food attitude at home and enjoy.
