  We had a 6:00 reservation on a Monday night. We were seated immediately and then didn't see a waitress for at least 20 minutes. No relish tray until an hour after seating and after we requested it. Our soup was cold when it was finally delivered. Our waitress came to apologize and said the food was almost ready - after which we STILL waited 15 minutes. Our food finally arrived 1 hour 40 minutes after we sat down. The food was mediocre at best. Even after comping our appetizers we still paid an absurd amount For one of THE WORST restaurant experiences of my life. There are plenty of other places to eat in Minocqua, don't waste your entire evening here.

  Quaint, chalet style building. Real fireplaces in bar and dining area. Excellent menu and wine selection.

  My family had a tradition of coming here. Despite the years of patronage, the hostess sat my mother and I in the closet. The table wasn't even big enough for two people. There were other open tables. It was just such an insult to be stuck in the corner. We always spent well over $100 for two people. How can they treat us like that? I am so upset....it's hard to change tradition, but we deserve better service for our money!!!

  Beware the need of reservation, as there is limited seating. Wait was pretty long, but food was good.
